Privacy Notice

What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

This website is published by Bertie le Roux, trading as The Belief Architect, in South Africa. Questions about this notice can be sent to bertie@bertieleroux.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us. If you write to Bertie, book a conversation or send a reflection through this website, we receive the information you type and your email address. We do not sell, rent or share it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Why we hold it

To reply to you, to arrange and deliver coaching, speaking or consulting work, and to keep proper records of that work. This is the lawful basis of consent and legitimate interest under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records connected to paid work are kept for five years, as South African tax and company law requires.

Bookings and calendars

Conversations are booked through Calendly, which processes your name, email address and chosen time on our behalf. Their own privacy terms apply in addition to this notice.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to bertie@bertieleroux.com and we will respond within thirty days. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Sensitive information

Please do not send health, medical or emergency information through this website or by ordinary email. Neither this website nor Bertie's coaching practice is a monitored crisis service. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact emergency services where that person is physically present.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own. Embedded videos and audio players from YouTube and SoundCloud may set their own cookies when you play them.
